I decided to create Take The Lead in 2018 to offer a truly unique and tailored pet care service.
I’ve always had a huge passion and love for animals, andI began working with and caring for animals professionally in 2007 and this love led me to study both Animal Management at College and then Animal Science at University.
Working with and caring for animals of all types and sizes, ranging from reptiles to horses and everything in between has led me to understand that every animal is truly individual. I have experience in a wide variety of settings from working on farms and stables to home stay / house sitting and kennels.
As well as myself (and our dog Walter), I am often joined by Hollie and Dan.
I have known Hollie for 15 years, and we have worked together for 12 years. We have both worked at the same farm and stables as well as both studying the same courses at college and university. Hollie has 2 horses (Tinks and Crystal) and 2 dogs (Sookie and Lady). Hollie works on a smallholding but still finds time to join us out on walks.
My partner Dan works in finance so doesnt often get time to come out and about, but you can see him out with us on his days off or at the weekends. Dan has a cat (Chester) and is joint owner to our puppy (Walter).
All of the dogs absolutely adore Dan and Hollie and love when they come out for walks!
